Ezapril-Co 20 mg / 12.5 mg Tablets contain Enalapril maleate 20 mg and Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg, a combination of an Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor and a Thiazide diuretic. Enalapril inhibits the conversion of Angiotensin I to angiotensin II, while Hydrochlorothiazide increases the excretion of sodium and water by the kidneys. Together, they relax blood vessels, reduce fluid retention, and effectively lower blood pressure.
